120,000 positive actions challenge

From 22 February to 1 August 2027, Scouts from around the world will join a global challenge marking the 120th anniversary of the Scouting Movement. Together, they will undertake positive actions inspired by the Jamboree pillars, with the ambition of achieving 120,000 actions that contribute to a better world.

The initiative is primarily aimed at Jamboree participants but is open to all Scouts. You can take part as a Scout unit, a patrol, or individually.

Below you can find some examples of the challenges that participants can undertake:

You:

• Practice mindfulness or take a walk in nature without using technology,
• Analyse your needs and answer one of them,
• Make yourself smile,
• Write down 5 things you like about yourself,
• Share your biggest achievement during your Scout group's meeting.

You and the Other People:

• Help someone in need,
• Make someone smile,
• Send someone a postcard or a handwritten letter,
• Donate blood or advocate for blood and marrow donation online,
• Make a friendship bracelet or DIY something reusing items already acquired and gift it.

You and the World:

• Find how you can positively contribute to your environment and act,
• Plant a tree, Volunteer outside of scouting,
• Host a Write for Rights event,
• Raise money for your local community’s needs and donate it.

The entire process will be hosted on a Jamboree website: https://www.jamboree2027.org/ with a live bar showing progress.

Participants will report their positive actions through forms, where they:

• insert information about themselves (voluntary)
• briefly describe what they did,
• add photos/videos.
