By centralising the majority of seating, smaller concepts with lower overheads and footprints can be introduced, enabling contingents, that might otherwise not choose to be involved, to contribute in one way or another. You may choose not to bring a cultural food option but instead choose a typical drink (all of course non-alcoholic!). And by adding the stage even more contingents can be involved. Perhaps you don’t have the capacity to bring a food or drink concept but still really want to celebrate and share your culture? The stage gives you that chance to be involved. You may want to offer to host a game event or a contest, put on some entertainment or do a DJ set. We’d love to hear from you so join us in being Brave and share your ideas. You may be able to offer food/drink and entertainment, even better! Imagine, you are sitting with all the new friends you made at the Jamboree and between you you’re enjoying Italian pizza, Swiss fondue, German bratwurst, British fish and chips, bubble tea and artisan hot beverages, while one of you just came off stage having dazzled the group with your authentic Hawiian dance routine and now you are all dancing to the crazy sounds of the Europop DJ set that The Netherlands are hosting. Later you’ll be heading to the Black magic tent Magic Tent for some serious techno beats but for now you are out in the main seating space increasing your friendship circle. Not hungry? No problem, just enjoy the entertainment and being part of all the International cultures around you. After all, we will be creating global friendships that will last a lifetime.
