- We would like to engage in the safeguarding practices of the largest and the most important group at the Jamboree – participants. We will prepare a pre-Jamboree learning experience for participants, introducing them to the principles of safe behaviour, the Jamboree Code of Conduct and preparing for the most common Safe from Harm challenges among youth participants. Learning material will be distributed to the Contingents with a recommendation to pass it to the Patrol and Unit Leaders. It will include a range of different activities applicable in different settings: group meetings, individual engagement, and online participation.
Youth participants’ learning experience will be available in the second half of 2026, giving almost a year for all patrols and units to use its content at their preparatory meetings. The learning material will be available in English, French, Spanish, and Arabic.
It will not be a compulsory task to complete the participants’ Safe from Harm Pre-Jamboree learning experience, but we do advise that each Patrol and Unit Leader will use it to introduce participants to the Safe from Harm measures.
Some of the preparation you can start even now! Part of the learning experience will be the Jamboree Code of Conduct, which you can find
