The 26th World Scout Jamboree

2027’s

2027 Symbolic Framework is based on a simple thing we all recognise from our years in

scouting—storytelling

scouting – storytelling. The Symbolic Framework serves as an outline for the participants’ journey through the Modular Programme, which is named after places (Beach, Village, Forest, City, etc.), as well as its extensions, which are reflected in the names of Polish flora chosen for the Subcamps’ names. The Hubs tie the Subcamps together as they are named after five colours the plants are in.

The Symbolic Framework also sparks brings the story of living bravely to life with ten Companions, who, as through ten Companions. As their name suggests, will accompany they travel with the Participants on their way and serve as examples and confidants; each of them with a unique story to telltheir journey. Each Companion has their own story, serving as an example and a trusted friend along the way.

With Anna, on the journey goes her twin sister Anna’s twin sister, Pola, who also loves their home dearly, deeply but is driven by change-driven. Where Anna wants to share their knowledge, Pola wants to learn more. No She knows that no home is perfect , and some traditions are long overdue, so with a list of challenges to overcome, Pola goes need to evolve. With an open mind and heart, she sets out into the world, into the Village with an open mind and an open heart. She ready to face challenges and asks for help and when needed. The journey is also joined by Balbina, who, in the Forest , deep into the late at night, faces her fear of darkness, illuminating the dark by lighting the way with a her flashlight. Being scared is not enough to stop her if she can bring Her fear doesn’t stop her. She finds joy and courage to by helping her Companions. Similarly, when Cezary, earlier this evening, truly wished wanted to see the sunset , earlier that evening but one of his Companions could not couldn’t walk anymore, his want was not enough any farther, he chose not to leave anyone behind.


Lost on the On the Beach, it’s Bogna, another person to join, who gives up on navigating and passes the map to the other Companions, trusting them to find the right Bogna becomes lost but decides to trust her Companions, handing over the map so they can find the way back. She focuses on the—equally important—things she’s good at, instead, keeps the spirits up and makes sure everybody takes instead on what she does best—keeping everyone’s spirits high and making sure they all take care of themselves.


By the the River, Mikołajdoes continues his everyday daily task of cleaning the shore. Everyone around thinks Others think it’s pointless, but he stays true to his heart and beliefs. When the Companions join him, the spark of inspiration starts a positive change that affects his whole his example inspires them, creating a wave of positive change in his community.

Seba, guided by his heart and curiosity, decides to join the journey too. Though he feels safe at home, he wants to explore The Kaleidoscope is Seba’s head and heart is what makes him join the journey. Although he loves his home and in there he’s comfortable and safe, he wants to discover how he fits into the wider world. He talks speaks openly about his feelings outwardly and kindly, does what’s brave, even if it’s outside his comfort zoneand acts bravely, even when it feels uncomfortable.


After a terrible and tiring journey, all lonely and following the Finally, Aleks, after a long and difficult solo journey, follows the distant light of the Companions’ distant fire Aleks finds their way.
