The Safety and Security strategy for the Jamboree is built on the principles of shared responsibility, prevention, proactivity, and preparedness, ensuring a safe environment without compromising the spirit of the event.
The approach emphasises partnership with local and state services, multi-format security systems, and preparatory training for leaders, Contingents, and IST. Accreditation and access control will be supported through ID badges, tiered access zones, managed vehicle entry, and scout-run checkpoints.
Internal security will be maintained by IST and contracted personnel through risk-based patrols, enhanced night-time vigilance, incident reporting, and strategically placed stewards who act as both first responders and information points.
Perimeter security and collaboration with state services—including police, fire, and border authorities— will ensure external risks are minimised. Technology will underpin all operations, from surveillance to real-time communication, with an emphasis on maintaining an open and welcoming atmosphere.
A 24/7 Jamboree Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) will coordinate incident response. This ensures that all emergencies, from minor concerns to major incidents, are managed efficiently and consistently.
