Engaging, Supporting, and Recognising Volunteers  

Through their hard work and dedication, the International Service Team (IST) plays a crucial role in making the World Scout Jamboree a success. Thats why it's so important to recognise that without our incredible IST, the Jamboree wouldn't be possible.  

ISTs don’t just come to a Jamboree to work - they want to have fun, make new friends and develop new skills while building on the ones they already have. They’re looking for an experience that is both meaningful and rewarding, giving them the chance to contribute, learn and connect with a global community.   

Most of all they want to leave the Jamboree with amazing memories and the feeling that they were a valued team member in a role that truly made a difference.  

Engaging 

Every IST member will have the opportunity to choose a role that complements their skills and interests. To ensure they are prepared for this role they will complete via an e-learning platform two types of pre-Jamboree training:  IST Induction Training  and Safe from Harm Training. 

Before the event, we will provide a warm welcome and essential information including top tips to ensure the IST are fully prepared and feel confident about their role at the Jamboree.  

 Supporting 

  • IST will also have an opportunity to take part in online Role Specific Training with their team. 
    • Throughout the Jamboree, continuous learning opportunities will be offered through workshops and training sessions, enhancing skills that will benefit IST members beyond the event itself. 
  • The “IST Feedback System” allows volunteers to share their thoughts, report challenges, and suggest improvements, ensuring their voices are heard.

    من خلال عملهم الجاد وتفانيهم، يلعب فريق الخدمة الدولي (IST) دورًا أساسيًا في نجاح المخيم الكشفي العالمي. لهذا السبب، من المهم جدًا الاعتراف بأن المخيم الكشفي لن يكون ممكنًا بدون فريق الخدمة الدولي الرائع لدينا. .

    لا يأتي أعضاء فريق الخدمة الدولي إلى المخيم فقط   فقط للعمل، بل يأتون أيضًا للاستمتاع، تكوين صداقات جديدة، وتطوير مهارات جديدة، بالإضافة إلى تعزيز المهارات التي يمتلكونها بالفعل. إنهم يبحثون عن تجربة ذات معنى ومجزية، تمنحهم فرصة للمساهمة والتعلم والتواصل مع المجتمع الكشفي العالمي.

    وقبل كل شيء، يريدون مغادرة المخيم بذكريات رائعة وبالشعور بأنهم كانوا جزءًا من فريق مُقدَّر، وأن دورهم كان له تأثير حقيقي.

    إشراك المتطوعين 

    • سيحصل كل عضو في فريق الخدمة الدولي على فرصة لاختيار دور يتناسب مع مهاراته واهتماماته.
    •  ولضمان استعدادهم لهذا الدور، سيكملون نوعين من التدريبات قبل المخيم عبر منصة تعليم إلكتروني:تدريب
    • التعريفي بفريق الخدمة الدولي. تدريب الحماية من الأذى قبل  المخيم، سنرحّب بالعناصر وسنزوّدهم بمعلومات أساسية كأفضل النصائح، لضمان أن يكون أعضاء IST مستعدين تمامًا  وواثقين بأدوارهم  خلال المخيم الكشفي.

    الدعم 

    • ستتاح أيضًا الفرصة لعناصرفريق الخدمة الدولية (IST) أيضًا فرصة للمشاركة في تدريب متخصص عبر الإنترنت يتناسب مع أدوارهم، وذلك بالتعاون مع فريقهم.
    • خلال المخيم الكشفي، ستقدّم فرص تعلّم مستمرة من خلال ورش عمل وجلسات تدريبية تساعد على تطوير المهارات المفيدة أعضاء IST حتى بعد انتهاء المخيّم.
    • يتيح "نظام ملاحظات IST" للمتطوعين مشاركة آرائهم، والإبلاغ عن التحديات، واقتراح التحسينات، مما يضمن الاستماع لهم وأخذ ملاحظاتهم في الاعتبار.

    التقدير

    • يُعد التقدير جزءًا أساسيًا من تجربة فريق الخدمة الدولية.
    • ستُمنح "جائزة تجربة IST" تقديرًا لعملهم الجاد وتدريباتهم ومساهماتهم بطريقة فريدة وبصرية، حيث لن تقتصر فقط على تكريم ومكافأة أعضاء IST، بل ستلهم الآخرين أيضًا لتحقيق المزيد من الإنجازات.
    • يوفر "برنامج الشكر" لكل عضو في IST شهادة رقمية للاعتراف بإنجازاته. أما الذين قدموا جهودًا استثنائية سيحصلون على شهادة متميزة تبرز خدمتهم الاستثنائية.
    • سيساعد برنامج IST جميع أعضاء فريق الخدمة الدولية على رسم مسارهم الفردي خلال المخيم الكشفي "بشجاعة".  سيُرسم هذا المسار بفضل اهتماماتهم وتحدياتهم ومعارفهم مما يتيح لكل عنصر اختيار وتشكيل جزء من تجربته بطريقة فريدة.
    • سواء شاركوا مع أصدقاء جدد أو أصدقاء قدامى أو حتى بمفردهم، ستتاح لأعضاء IST الفرصة لاكتشاف أنشطة ممتعة ومليئة بالمغامرة وتفاعلية، مما سيعزز تجربتهم في المخيم الكشفي ولو كانت هذه المرة الأولى أو المرة العاشرة لهم كأعضاء في IST.
    • تم تصميم تجربة IST لتمكين ودعم والاحتفاء بكل متطوع، مما يضمن أن وقتهم في المخيم الكشفي لن يقتصر فقط على أداء المهام، بل سيكون أيضًا فرصة للنمو الشخصي، والتعلم، وصنع ذكريات تدوم مدى الحياة.

    Recognising

    • Recognition is an essential part of the IST Experience.   
    • The “IST Experience Award” acknowledges their hard work, training, and contributions in a unique and very visual way, that will not only recognise and reward the IST’s it will also inspire others to achieve too!   
    • The “Thank You Programme” provides every IST member with a digital certificate of achievement, those ISTs that go above and beyond will get an enhanced certificate highlighting their exceptional service.  
    • The IST Programme will help all ISTs to “bravely” create their own individual path through the Jamboree. This path will be guided by their own interests, challenges and knowledge, uniquely allowing the IST to choose and create part of their own experience. Whether they take part in with new friends, old friends or even alone, the IST will have the opportunity to discover fun, adventurous and interactive activities, to enhance their Jamboree experience no matter if it’s their first or tenth time as an IST. 
      •  The IST Experience is designed to empower, support, and celebrate every volunteer, ensuring that their time at the Jamboree is not just about fulfilling duties but about growing, learning, and making lasting memories.
