Dear Scouts from around the world,

In three years’ time, I will have the pleasure of welcoming you personally to Gdańsk, on Wyspa Sobieszewska. Here, in the Host City Team, we have been working diligently to support ZHP in making the 26th World Scout Jamboree 2027 a safe and welcoming event.

I am sure that you will feel at home in Gdańsk. We will make every effort to ensure that your two weeks spent on the picturesque Wyspa Sobieszewska, surrounded by the historic sites of Gdańsk and in the culturally rich Pomeranian region, will be unforgettable.

For us, the people of Gdańsk, the values promoted by Scouting – — solidarity and brotherhood, equality, diversity and inclusion – — are very important. I am delighted that we will have the opportunity to show you our daily work that is consistent with the city’s motto: Nec temere, nec timide - — ‘Neither rashly nor timidly.’
