an effective and efficient supply chain that can meet participant demand throughout the event.

The system is likely to be points based with a set quota of points allocated per unit of forty. Four participants per unit can visit the market up to twice a day to collect the supplies for their group.Hub, to serve all participant units.
Camp Cookbook
The Campbook we plan to produce We’re excited to announce that the WSJ 2027 Cookbook will be created in collaboration with Scouts from around the world. Giving not just participants, but all scouts the opportunity to contribute ! This project offers a wonderful opportunity for all Scouts—not just participants—to contribute their creativity, culture, and flavour to the Jamboree experience.
We are looking to contingents to invite Contingents to help spread the word and request input encourage contributions from across your organisation. Participants are free to either follow the cook book recipes, which will offer a well balance range of meals or alternatively, can create any dishes they want to, organisations. Together, we’ll create a truly global collection of ideas, stories, and recipes that celebrate our shared Scouting spirit. More information on how to contribute to the Cookbook will be shared in due time.
Participants will be welcome to follow recipes from the Cookbook, which will feature a well-balanced and diverse range of meal ideas, or experiment with their own creations using the ingredients available in the food market.
Chef David
We are extremely lucky to have on the team our very own, extensively experienced, globally successful chef, Chef David. Chef is working on ensuring our food provision is not only nutritionally balanced but also offers a range of options to suit the variety of global diets followed by our participants and volunteers. Chef will also be supporting the cookbook production and will take the recipe submissions from Scouts, test and scale them to ensure they work with unit numbers and unit cooking equipment. We will then work with our food market supplier to align the ingredients available in the supermarket with the recipes.
IST Dining
markets. However, they choose to cook, it’s all about sharing good food, great company, and international friendship.
IST Dining
The dining provision for the IST will follow a model similar to recent World Scout Jamborees, featuring a large central dining hall operated The Provision will be similar to that in recent Jamborees with one large IST dining hall serviced by a professional catering company.
Breakfast and dinner will be eaten served in the dining hall, as will the evening meal. Lunch will be a takeaway option collected at breakfast. Dining timings are still under consideration and when we have confirmed these we will share them with contingents. However, as reassurance these will be appropriate for all, we are working closely with all departments to ensure the service times work for everyone that will be eating their meals in the IST dining facilitywhile lunch will be provided as a takeaway meal, collected during the breakfast period.
The canteen will be aligned with the daily rhythm and operational needs of IST members, ensuring that meal service times are convenient and compatible with their work schedules.

will take place in Poland

work closely with us to provide high-quality, diverse meals for everyone. The more you share about your dietary needs during the personal data registration, the better we will be able to prepare to meet them and ensure that all participants and volunteers are well catered for throughout the event.
What is meant by dietary requirements?
Dietary requirements may include preferences (such as vegetarian or vegan diets), faith-based or culturally followed diets, medical or allergy-related restrictions, and specific lifestyle choices. In line with the WOSM standard, food and catering arrangement will take into acount and deliver special dietary requirements, especially religious and medical. Within this provision, it will be essential to ensure a balanced diet for all Jamboree participants.
What
...
What do we mean by dietary requirements?
A dietary requirement may range from a preference for a vegetarian or vegan diet, faith-based diets, medical diets, culturally followed diets, to specific lifestyle choices.
What constitutes a standard diet in one culture may differ from that in others across the globe. By helping us clearly define these dietary profiles, you can assist us in ensuring that the suppliers receive the necessary information to meet everyone's needs. So, please ensure that you provide as much detail as possible significantly in another. Clearly defining dietary profiles is crucial to ensuring that catering providers receive accurate information and can meet everyone’s needs. It is therefore important to provide detailed and up-to-date information at the time of registration and throughout as needs change, as this information will form the basis of our planning. We have listed to keep it current if it needs to change.
The registration form will include several common dietary requirement categories on the registration form for individuals to select as appropriate; however, but this list is by no means not exhaustive. If you feel that any dietary needs of your contingent a Contingent are not covered or will may not be met through the standard information you provideprovided, please contact CRE.
More critical diets—such as allergies that, if not strictly followed, could result in severe or life-threatening conditions like anaphylaxis—must be communicated to us with as much detail as possible please
Additionally, there are highly specialized and complex dietary needs. If you have individuals who may fall into this category—such as those with multiple allergies, or those following specific medical or uncommon faith-based diets —again, please contact CRE so we can work with you to ensure their requirements are adequately met.
contact the Contingent Relations Department for further guidance.
Diets linked to severe allergies or medical conditions — such as those that could result in life-threatening reactions such as anaphylaxis — must be communicated in detail. Highly specific or complex dietary needs, such as multiple allergies or uncommon medical or faith-based diets, should also be reported early. Further guidance on how to communicate those needs will be provided in an upcoming circular.
Accuracy is essential when specifying individual dietary requirements. What is considered customary in one Please be precise when specifying each individual’s dietary needs; don’t forget, what is customary/common in your culture may not be the same elsewhere. If a particular dietary consideration is important to you, inform us so that we can be adequately prepared and meet your expectations, it should be clearly indicated to ensure adequate preparation and appropriate provision.
Food Sustainability
We aim to make this Jamboree the most sustainable to date and will be focusing on a meat-free and sustainable diets agenda in our provision. This The 26th World Scout Jamboree aims to promote meat-reduced and environmentally responsible food choices. This approach will be reflected in both the Camp Cookbook recipes and on the menu menus served in the IST facility. We are keen that participants and volunteers, where safe to do so, to choose to follow our lead and support this agenda. We are not, on this occasion tempting an entirely meat free event however, we would like you to support our sustainable goals and choose the less environmentally impactful option; we will be giving you lots of information to support you in making good choices throughout the event!

dining facility.
Although the Jamboree will not be entirely meat-free, participants and volunteers are encouraged to support sustainability goals by choosing options with a lower environmental impact whenever possible. Clear information and guidance will be provided throughout the event to promote responsible consumption and sustainability awareness.
Food Success
A shared goal unites all participants: ensuring that everyone eats well and enjoys the dining experience at the Jamboree. The following reminders may help Heads of Contingent and their teams contribute to a smooth and positive experience:
- Be considerate of others. Those with early duties or activities should be allowed to move ahead at mealtimes.
- Communicate with issues promptly. Any problems or concerns should be reported immediately to the catering team so that they can be resolved quickly.
- Be specific about dietary needs. Provide accurate and detailed information for each individual to ensure correct provision.
- Share information clearly. Never assume prior knowledge; all relevant details help ensure appropriate support.
- Ask questions. Clarification is always welcome — unanswered questions help no one.
Be prepared to queue. Queuing is part of the Jamboree experience — and often where new friendships begin!
By following these simple principles, the Jamboree dining experience can remain positive, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone.
