Arrival and Departure Dates
IST are expected to arrive on 27 July and depart on 10 August.
Participants (patrols) are expected to arrive on 29 July and depart on 9 August.
Arrivals for participants take place exclusively in patrols
Exact arrival and departure dates
The check-In Center (AmberExpo Centrum Wystawienniczo-Kongresowe AmberExpo, Żaglowa 11 Street, 80-560 Gdańsk, Polska) will be open 24/7 so that arrivals can happen at any time during the pre-allocated dates or later. The actual Check-In for IST opens on the 27th of July. Polish Units are planned to arrive during the 28th of June. The rest of the units can arrive on 29th. However, some IST will be asked to arrive earlier due to their assignment Note that you are not allowed to arrive prior to the designed date. Exceptions are agreed in advance. More information on arrivals will be in Bulletin 4.
The official departure date for Units will be 9th of August. IST departure dates will be the following day the 10th of August. However, there will be both Units and IST needing to leave earlier and some IST later. The Jamboree Organization will support you as well. More information on departures will be in Bulletin 4.
Arrivals take place exclusively in Units or Patrols (PAX). Unaccompanied minors are not allowed to report to the Check-in Center Centre on their own — every Youth Participant must arrive with their Unit or Patrolpatrol.
Only the following individuals are allowed to enter the Check-In Center:
- The Patrol leader or Unit leader (APL),
- IST (who is arriving individually).
Entry points and means of Transportation
The main Entry point is Check-In Center (in AmberExpo) where everybody needs to arrive first to check in and receive credentials and other materials. There are four other Entry points from where there is a Jamboree shuttle bus to transfer Units and IST (and other participants) to Check-In Center for Check-In. These entry points are Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, Gdańsk Główny Train Station and 2 ferry terminals – Gdańsk Ferry Terminal and Gdynia Ferry Terminal.
These are the different ways to reach the Check-In Center:
- by Jamboree Shuttle bus from the Airport
- by Jamboree Shuttle bus from the Train Station
- by Jamboree Shuttle bus from the Gdansk Ferry Harbor
- by Jamboree Shuttle bus from the Gdynia Ferry Harbor
- by a charter bus from the Harbor
- by a charter bus from elsewhere
- by a car/minibus
- by bike/bicycle
- by walking
These are the two ways IST and Units can get from Check-In Center to Jamboree site:
- by Jamboree Shuttle bus
- By a charter bus
Official Entry Points
The following locations have been designated as Official Entry Points:
- Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa International Airport (GDN),
- Gdańsk Główny railway station,
- Gdańsk ferry terminal,
- Gdynia ferry terminal,
- AmberExpo Parking
Check-in Centre (AmberExpo)
The Check-in Centre will be located at AmberExpo (Żaglowa 11, Gdańsk), an exhibition and trade hall.
All participants arriving at the Official Entry Point will be transported by shuttle to the Check-in Centre, where the check-in process will take place before being taken to the Jamboree site. Participants arriving by their own buses to the Entry Point “AmberExpo Parking” will continue their journey to the Campsite with the same buses after completing the check-in process.
Entry to the Jamboree Campsite is not permitted without first completing the check-in at the Check-in Centre.
No individuals or vehicles will be allowed to enter through the Jamboree gates without having first passed through the Check-in Centre.

The permissions to park to the Jamboree adult parking place will be given with other Check-In material.
