All participants of the 26th World Scout Jamboree are required to have valid medical and travel insurance covering the full duration of their stay in Poland, including travel to and from the event. Medical facilities at the Jamboree site will be provisional and limited to first aid and pre-hospital care only. Any further treatment will be provided in local hospitals or clinics at the participant’s own expense. The Jamboree fee does not include costs related to medical examinations, hospitalisation, or treatment of injuries or illnesses. Therefore, it is the responsibility of each participant – and ultimately the Head of Contingent – to ensure that adequate insurance cover has been arranged.

For participants requiring a Schengen Visa, travel medical insurance is mandatory under European Union regulations. The policy must provide a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000 for emergency medical treatment, hospitalisation, medical evacuation, and repatriation. The insurance must be valid throughout the entire Schengen area, which includes most EU countries, and for the full duration of the planned stay. Proof of such insurance is required when applying for a visa and must be presented to consular authorities.
