The Safety and Security strategy for the Jamboree is built on the principles of shared responsibility, prevention, proactivity, and preparedness, ensuring a safe environment without compromising the spirit of the event.
The approach emphasises partnership with local and state services, multi-format security systems, and preparatory training for leaders, Contingents, and IST. Accreditation and access control will be supported through ID badges, tiered access zones, managed vehicle entry, and scoutScout-run checkpoints.
Internal security will be maintained by IST and contracted personnel through risk-based patrols, enhanced night-time vigilance, incident reporting, and strategically placed stewards who act as both first responders and information points.
