International Food Houses
At the 26th World Scout Jamboree, we invite everyone to be brave and embrace a fresh approach to International Food Houses. Our vision is to create a vibrant Food Court and a festival atmosphere, featuring a central shared seating area, Contingent-led food and drink concepts arranged around the perimeter, and a stage at one end to host performances and entertainment.
We understand that some Contingents may wish to bring a more traditional-style Food House, and these can be accommodated within the Food House space. The goal is to bring everyone together in a shared environment, celebrating cultural diversity while maintaining each Contingent’s unique identity.
This concept isn’t just about food and drink—it’s about sharing global experiences, culture, and friendship. Scouts are welcome to simply enjoy the atmosphere, music, and company.
By centralising most of the seating, we can create opportunities for smaller, lower-cost, and lower- footprint concepts, allowing more Contingents to participate. You might choose to serve a traditional dish, a regional drink, or even contribute through music, games, or performances on the stage.
Detailed information about Food Houses will be provided in a Circular in early 2026.
