CMT and Pre-Visits
We expect every contingent to bring a Head of Contingent (HoC). Besides the HoC, we encourage you to have someone for Safeguarding / Safe from Harm in order to help your participants and IST in your own language and keeping in mind your own culture. Bigger contingents may consider bringing medical doctor/nurse/paramedics. If you want to have a look at the number of CMT allowed for your contingent, you can find a table showing the allowed numbers in the Terms and Conditions. We are also considering to host a session about this topic to learn from each other what would be good compositions for your contingents. More information on this session will be available at a later stage.
Fees, Contingent Size and Registration
Youth Participants must be between the ages of 14 and 17 at the time of the event (born after 30 July 2009 but not later than 30 July 2013). Individuals older than 18 (born on or before 30 July 2009) can take part as International Service Team (IST) volunteers. For further information please see Bulletin 1
We will match patrols into units, creating international units for contingents that do not form a full unit of 40 people.
This refers to the official registration number under which the National Scout Organization (NSO) is legally registered in its country. It may come from a national court register, charity register, or any other official registry for legal entities, depending on the country’s system. This number confirms the NSO’s legal status and recognition within the national legal framework. If the NSO is not registered under such a system and does not have a national registration number, the organization may enter its tax identification number in this field instead.
Food House and Contingents Exhibitions
World Scout Centre, Global Development Village, Faiths & Beliefs, and Food Houses are part of the jamboree experience, and planning of those areas already started. More information will be published in Bulletin 2 and 3.
IST
The IST Volunteer Roles Catalogue gives an overview of 177 volunteering opportunities across all departments, including responsibilities, working conditions, and required skills. The catalogue is available as an interactive website, allowing users to search and filter roles online; it is not a downloadable file, and no PDF version will be published. Read more in Circular 05.
Website: https://www.jamboree2027.org/ist-volunteer-roles-catalogue/
Access to the role selection process will be available to IST members, who are registered to the Jamboree. This means that respective HoC or individual ISTs themselves (depending on the internal Contingent organisation) must complete Personal Data Registration first, on Accredit Solutions – the Jamboree registration platform (read more in Circular 01 and Circular 06). Once submitted, this data will be used to create each IST member’s individual account in the volunteer management and e-learning platform – Rosterfy (read more in Circular 07).
IST members who are not registered will not be able to proceed with their applications for volunteering roles.
[!] Please note: each IST member must have their own individual email address recorded during personal data registration, as this will be required to create their account and grant access to the platform.
The IST programme is built around five main areas, giving volunteers plenty of activities to choose from. Everyone can pick what matches their interests and energy, shaping their own Jamboree path—alone, with friends, or with new friends.
- Adventure is all about action: swimming and water games at the beach, hiking, camp walks, scavenger hunts, and morning or evening runs.
- Chill Out is for rest and recovery. Relax in hammocks, read, try meditation or yoga, or enjoy a small sauna and salt-water foot baths in the Chill-out Plaza.
- Culture lets you discover music, food, and local life through beach hangouts, campfires, quizzes, singing, dancing, city tours, and museum visits in Gdańsk.
- Fun keeps the camp lively with board games, karaoke, LEGO, quizzes, speed-friending, badge swapping, café time, team sports, IST Got Talent, and the Opening and Closing ceremonies.
- Innovation is for learning and sharing through Scout-talks, open-space discussions, workshops, and group sessions, helping IST gain new skills beyond everyday service work.
IST members should arrive on 27 July 2027, two days before the contingents and participants arrive.
