(*) At the 2027 WSJ, IST members will register their job preferences directly through the online IST support platform, without the need to go through their respective Contingents. This online platform is designed to facilitate smoother and higher-quality job allocation for IST members and will also enable efficient communication and information sharing between IST members and each Jamboree Planning Team Department. We therefore ask each IST member to be registered with a personal e-mail adress and not to use a general email account for all IST. We strongly recommend that all IST members activate their individual accounts during the designated personal data registration period, which runs from 15 May 2026 to 1 January 2027. Detailed instructions regarding the job selection process will be provided closer to the launch of this process.
„What to expect as an IST“?
The IST plays a vital role in ensuring the success of the 2027 World Scout Jamboree (WSJ). We define success as: “Every participant enjoys the best experience of their Scouting life.” This vision extends beyond participants to include IST members, volunteers, and professional staff.
While the 2027 WSJ promises to be a fun and rewarding experience for ISTs, their primary role is to contribute meaningfully to the event’s success. Through this contribution, IST members will also discover personal enjoyment and fulfilment. At the Jamboree, ISTs will take part in an inspiring program that emphasizes personal choice and individual growth. Each IST member will shape their own journey by engaging in activities that challenge and inspire them, creating a unique and meaningful experience.
To enrich this journey even further, a variety of IST programs—both on-site and off-site—will be offered, designed to deliver the best Scouting experiences in the Jamboree. In addition, ISTs can look forward to training opportunities that extend beyond the Jamboree, including WSOM initiatives and life and career skills that will benefit them back home.
The theme of the 2027 WSJ is “Bravely.” We encourage all IST members to embrace this spirit—working with dedication, supporting one another, and enjoying the journey with courage and enthusiasm.
