Jamboree Site
The 26th World Scout Jamboree Site is located on Wyspa Sobieszewska within the borders of the city of Gdańsk, on the coast of the Baltic Sea in northern Poland.
Gdańsk has 1,000 years of history and has been influenced by many cultures, religions, and events through the ages. It is the birthplace of the Solidarity Movement, which began as a labour union led by the later Nobel Peace Prize laureate Lech Wałęsa, and evolved into a protest movement that contributed to the fall of Communism in Poland and Eastern Europe.
Scouts will enjoy exploring the natural wonders of Wyspa Sobieszewska. It is surrounded by the sea and rivers and is a 20-minute drive from the historic centre of Gdańsk.
Although Wyspa Sobieszewska is a part of Gdańsk, it has preserved its charming natural environment and is located away from urban development areas. Wyspa Sobieszewska enjoys the status of an ecological reserve and was formed by regulating the estuary of the Vistula River as it flows into the Baltic Sea. Its natural features and microclimate make it an ideal place for outdoor activities during the summer. It offers various landscapes, including the seaside forest, several kilometres of wide beach, picturesque open fields, and farmland. The Jamboree site itself is located on 300 hectares of fields and meadows, with programme activities areas in the forest and on the beach.
Conditions météorologiques et climat en juillet et août
Wyspa Sobieszewska bénéficie d'un climat chaud et tempéré, tempéré par la proximité de la mer. En juillet et août, la température quotidienne moyenne est de 17 °C, avec une température maximale moyenne de 21 °C et un taux d'humidité de 55 %.
La brise côtière peut parfois rendre le temps un peu venteux.
Les précipitations sont modérées, avec une moyenne de sept jours de pluie par mois en été, mais le site est bien préparé : il est situé sur des terrains élevés et herbeux avec un sol stable, et dispose d'un système de drainage et d'irrigation qui sont en place depuis de nombreuses années grâce à l'agriculture. Ainsi, même lorsqu'il pleut, les scouts peuvent profiter de leurs activités en toute sécurité.
Alors, n'oubliez pas d'emporter votre chapeau, votre coupe-vent et votre imperméable : les conditions météorologiques variées font partie intégrante de l'expérience du Jamboree ! Et apportez une tente équipée de longs piquets, elle résistera mieux au vent.

The following locations have been designated as Official Entry Points: Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa International Airport (GDN), Gdańsk Główny railway station, Gdańsk ferry terminal, Gdynia ferry terminal, and the bus parking in Gdańsk at the AmberExpo/Polsat Plus Arena.

General Site Information
The Jamboree Site in Gdańsk is being prepared to ensure a safe, comfortable, and sustainable environment for all participants. The site infrastructure will support the needs of tens of thousands of Scouts, providing reliable access to essential services such as water, sanitation, waste management, and connectivity — everything needed for smooth daily life during the Jamboree.
Water Supply
The site is connected to the municipal water and sewage system, ensuring reliable access to clean and safe drinking water. Taps are distributed throughout the Jamboree Site, making it easy for everyone to refill their water bottles conveniently. While tap water in Gdańsk is safe to drink without boiling, at the campsite taps with drinking water will be clearly marked.
Toilets & Showers
Modern toilet and shower facilities will be available in individual cubicles, ensuring a high level of comfort and privacy for all participants. The toilets will include different styles and types, reflecting various cultural habits and preferences from around the world, so that everyone can feel comfortable using them.
Facilities will be located throughout the site and will be cleaned and maintained regularly during the Jamboree.
Waste Management
A five-bin waste system will support sustainability and responsible resource use throughout the Jamboree. This is the standard waste segregation system used in Gdańsk helping us align with local environmental regulations and contribute to recycling efforts.
All participants are expected to follow this system carefully and dispose of their waste responsibly. The categories are as follows:
Electricity & Charging Facilities
While unit areas are not directly connected to the power grid, electricity will be available in designated areas to support Jamboree services. Powerbanks can be charged at designated stations free of charge.
WiFi & Mobile Coverage
Free Wi-Fi zones will be available in large areas of the Jamboree site, though coverage will not extend to all areas of the Jamboree site. To support connectivity, additional temporary cell towers will be installed across the site.
