Guidelines for Contingent Logos

The following information serves as a recommendation for contingents. We encourage you to develop the contingent's logo using the provided template and guidelines. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us - we're happy to assist you!

1. Theme and Colour Scheme

  • Each design should incorporate a distinctive element representing the country, such as iconic landmarks or natural symbols.
  • To best represent your national identity, you are encouraged to use your own official national or regional colours. You may also incorporate colors from the Jamboree palette to ensure your design aligns with the event's overall visual brand.

2. Background and Composition

  • The background features abstract, irregular shapes resembling brushstrokes. While the overall rectangular footprint of these brushstrokes is fixed and cannot be altered, your internal composition is flexible.
  • You are welcome to use alternative layouts for your central artwork, such as a semicircular or vertical arrangements, if it fits within the provided brushstroke area and do not overlap the Jamboree text bands.

3. Primary Visual Element

  • We recommend a simplified illustration style with clear shapes and a limited selection from your national colour palette or the Jamboree palette. This ensures that your contingent's unique symbol remains legible and distinctive.
  • The primary illustration must be placed entirely behind the Jamboree Logo and text bands. No part of the illustration should obscure or sit on top of these fixed elements.
  • The background colours within the brushstrokes should be chosen to complement your primary visual element and provide good contrast for the Jamboree logo and wordmark.
  • The placement of the Jamboree Logo and Wordmark is fixed and cannot be changed.
  • All text should be in uppercase letters.
  • The text on the top bar must be written in Galano Grotesque Bold, as in template.
  • The text at the bottom should be written in Galano Grotesque Medium, as in template.
  • Both top and bottom text bars must not be altered in any way apart from changing the background colour. Both bars must be free of any obstructive elements.
  • The colour of the bars should be different from surrounding elements of the design to ensure that bars are clearly legible.
  • The World Scout Jamboree logo should be centrally placed above the text within a circle. The circle’s background colour must match the top bar. The logo must not be obstructed in any way.
  • Text should be divided into two sections:
    • The main event information ("POLAND 2027, 26TH WORLD SCOUT JAMBOREE" ) should appear on a wide band in a variation of the project's dominant colour. This text must not be altered in any way.
    • The country name should be placed below on a separate band, also in a variation of the logo dominant colour.
